My name is Emily. I recently turned 19 years young and I am going to be starting my sophomore year of college at Wright State University. I am a theatre student who dreams of moving to LA and being an actress. Maybe someday you'll see me in a movie, who knows. :)
These are just a few photos I snapped whilst walking around campus during my freshman year at Wright State. I absolutely love it there, it's an absolutely beautiful campus during every season, my favorite being fall with all the leaves and colors changing. It was gorgeous.
I am an aspiring actress, though a long shot in some people's eyes, it's reachable in mine. The following is a photo of my freshman year acting class. It was probably the best class I have ever had and I had an amazing teacher who I learned a lot from my freshman year.
Notice I skipped over high school for my little opening. I wasn't very fond of my high school experience, I don't think a lot of people really are, so I just decided not to dive into those memories and just be in the now.
I live with my Mom and my older brother David. Unfortunately my Dad passed away after battling cancer for 11 years. He passed when I was 16. It's been a pretty rough couple of years but we are getting through it. I think I battle the most with his passing because I really didn't get along with him while he was with us and I wish I could fix it. Since my Dad's passing my family and I have acquired three cats.
This is Oliver, our newest little boy.
This is my baby. I named him Ronald Weasley because I'm a super Harry Potter nerd.
And this is my brother's girl, Tabby.
So there's my cat lady side, for you to see. Don't be surprised if you see more photos of them later on.
I'm a huge bookworm. I've read tons of books and have a massive book collection. I'll probably start doing reviews on the books I read when I finish them, I think that'll be fun and interesting. I'm also obsessed with movies, watching movies is probably my favorite pastime. Since I want to be an actress I just kinda consider it to be studying, which is a bit weird. I'll throw in some movie reviews as well.
I think that's about all for my first post. I hope you learned a little bit about me and I can't wait for blogging to become more integrated into my everyday routine.
Lots of love
Emily
